History

After winning a national competition in Norway, bpr architects was set up in 1975 by Richard and Inger Beaty-Pownall in partnership with Nigel Roberts.

Focusing initially on bespoke house designs, the practice has expanded over time in size and is now an award-winning practice working in South West London.

The practice is now headed up by Directors Paul Beaty-Pownall and Graham Wilson with three Associate Directors: Christine Banks, Charlotte Singer and Steve Cowell who are supported by a dynamic team of architects and technologists who work together to create aspirational places for people to live, work and learn.
