Sustainability
We believe that sustainability should not be a feature of the building, but instead be integral to the design from the outset.
Our projects incorporate passive design, including siting of the building and thermal mass, long-term maintenance considerations and lifespan of the materials with green technologies including green roofs, ground source heat pumps and rainwater harvesting systems.
Two of our most recent projects for Middlesex University include Hatchcroft Science Centre and the Art, Design and Media Centre which is currently under construction. Hatchcroft Science Centre achieved a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating and the new Art, Design and Media Centre has also been designed to achieve a rating of 'Excellent'.
A new commercial development in Paradise Road, Richmond, also designed by bpr architects to BREEAM 'Excellent' is currently in planning.
