Loughborough Station

The introduction of automatic ticket gates at Loughborough Station required a new external enclosure that bpr architects designed to sit alongside the listed historic station building.

The use of robust modern materials for the building reflected the technology enclosed by the structure, whilst the composition is sympathetic to its surroundings.

The project provided an opportunity for Central Trains to test the new Scheidt & Bachman gates.
