Wolverton Station
Milton Keynes’ new railway station for Wolverton, will provide a landmark at the gateway to Wolverton Town Centre and contribute to plans for the regeneration of the town.
bpr architects managed the community consultation for the project as well as lead the design porcess. The project involved representing the aspirations of stakeholders including Milton Keynes Council, Network Rail, London Midland Railway and the Wolverton Company to formulate a brief.
The design marries a vision of the future with the memory of a historic railway town. The project includes the regeneration of the immediate environment and public realm around the station.
