Bristol Temple Meads Station

Bristol Temple Meads Station, originally built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel in 1839-41, with subsequent additions including the main train shed as designed by Sir Matthew Digby Wyatt, and built between 1865-78 has been adapted several times over the years. The next phase of work to take place is an extensive refurbishment of the Grade 1 listed building fabric for Network Rail.

BPR Architects have been appointed by Stantec, working alongside FJD consulting to support Taziker Industrial deliver the works on site, which are due to be completed in 2023.

The project is part of a wider programme of railway upgrades in the area to improve reliability, capacity and the overall passenger experience.
