wolverton railway station

Back to Portfolio
The new railway station at Wolverton provides a landmark at the gateway to the town centre and contributes to plans for the regeneration of the town. bpr architects managed the community consultation as lead consultant and then went on to manage the project as lead consultant during the contract stage, under a traditional JCT contract. The project involved representing the aspirations of stakeholders including Milton Keynes Council, Network Rail, London Midland Railway and the Wolverton Company to formulate a brief. The design marries a vision of the future with the memory of a historic railway town.

The project includes the regeneration of the immediate environment and public realm around the station.
