waterloo station concourse

Back to Portfolio

The concourse at Waterloo station was remodelled to accommodate the new automatic ticket gates (ATG) array, consisting of over 100 gates and modular fixed glass panels. We prepared a masterplan that re-aligned the retail units, opened up the barriers and re-designed the soffit and lighting strategy to enable safe evacuation and secure access to all 19 platforms. We then supported Murphy contractors to deliver the works whilst the station remained open.
