Steve joined bpr
architects in 2006, and became a director in 2015.
Since joining bpr architects, Steve has primarily been focused on railway infrastructure projects for clients such as Network Rail, Transport for London and train operating companies. He also has significant experience of working with listed buildings and structures of heritage value.
Steve is a highly experienced and talented Chartered Architectural Technologist with strong management and technical skills, adept at developing both effective strategic and detailed design solutions for large, complex and multidisciplinary projects.
Steve has gained a reputation within the rail community for his in-depth understanding of the unique challenges of designing successfully for the rail environment. His leading role in developing the London Overground Station Design Idiom is widely acknowledged.
Our clients benefit from Steve’s comprehensive knowledge of the network rail technical approvals process, current building regulations, group standards, and DfT codes. Steve has recently led the design proposals for a number of London Overground stations, including West Hampstead and Hackney Central, and is currently working on design proposals for a new railway station at Stanford Le Hope.
