BEDFORD COURT MANSIONS

This exquisite new porters lodge set within the historic coaching entrance at Bedford Court Mansions allows a very contemporary design to sit comfortably within an historic Edwardian building close to Bedford Square in the heart of Bloomsbury.

BPR architects worked closely with the residents to prepare a masterplan for the upgrade of the common parts to the residential mansions that led to the introduction of new security and reception area.

BPR has also secured planning permission to carry out a refurbishment of the external envelope, including upgrade of common parts, lift and replacement windows throughout.

The block was constructed in the early 1890’s and has since received a significant amount of repair and refurbishment work that ensures that BCM is regarded as one of the most attractive and valuable buildings in the area.
