A modern, sustainable new station building providing additional capacity to serve the c2c route and the new London Gateway Port.

A multi-modal interchange to support a planned shuttle bus service to the nearby London Gateway Port and Logistics Park developments. Designed to accommodate projected passenger growth to 2031 the station makes use of the Station Place concept by providing high quality public realm as well as fully serviced station facilities.

One of the first stations to be designed to meet BREEAM 'Excellent' rating, the project is being sponsord by Thurrock Council.
